About Me

Hi, I’m Kari!

I’m so excited to share my love of music with you and your little ones! As a mom of six and a professional violinist, I’ve had the joy of combining my passion for music with my love for kids through teaching. I offer private violin lessons and group music classes designed especially for toddlers.

When my kids were little, we had the best time attending Music Together® classes every week. Those moments not only created a strong musical foundation for my girls that will stay with them forever but also helped me build meaningful friendships with other moms—something I really needed during those busy toddler years.

Now, I’m thrilled to bring Music Together to families right here in Utah! It’s such a joy to help moms, grandmas, and families spark the gift of music in their children, creating memories and skills that last a lifetime.

For families with interest in the violin or other string instruments, I’ve also created “Little Strings,” a playful program that introduces kids to music through song, movement, and fun activities. This class helps prepare young children for private lessons by building their confidence and teaching rhythms, techniques, and other foundational skills—all while having a blast!
